While Selena Gomez and Lily Collins doubled down on the romantic side of NYE, other celebs caught up with friends or clocked in to work. For example, Cardi B kicked off her heels for a barefoot performance in Miami while Lucy Hale enjoyed a mini Pretty Little Liars reunion at the beach.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco

On December 31, Gomez shared a roundup of sweet moments with fiancé Benny Blanco, including some PDA. The couple shared a kiss while decked out in cocktail party attire, but there were plenty of cozy makeup-free moments as well. Furthermore, the actor proved she and Blanco are Maxxinistas in slide number six. “Happy new years ❤️,” she captioned the snaps.

Reneé Rapp and Alanis Morissette

Rapp and Morissette brought the house down with a joint performance of “You Oughta Know” on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. The New Year’s Eve special also included performances by the Jonas Brothers, Kesha, Carrie Underwood, TLC, Tinashe, and more.

“The only person that could get me out of the house,” Rapp captioned her Instagram post from the evening, tagging Morissette.

Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper (and Diplo)

Speaking of New Year’s Eve specials, Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper were back to their usual shenanigans over on CNN, with tequila shots coming out pretty quickly. “We are going to do this at the top of every hour,” Cohen told viewers, per Parade, later adding, “You can be wild and drink responsibly, I feel. Because wild to me just means fun, and our directive is to have fun. That’s what I’m focused on. My focus is to make [Anderson] loosen up and to create a lot of laughs and memorable moments.”

One of the biggest shockers of the night was Diplo’s revelation that he was tripping on LSD during their interview. “I did some on the helicopter, on the way here,” he said, per People. “I’m not even lying.”

Cardi B

Cardi B kicked off her heels this New Year’s Eve…literally. On December 31, the rapper performed barefoot during her set at E11Even in Miami.

Rihanna

Meanwhile, Rihanna enjoyed the countdown from the comfort of home.

Hailey Bieber

Hailey Bieber appears to have thrown a New Year’s Eve party complete with festive headbands and In-N-Out burgers with caviar!

Anya Taylor-Joy

The Queen’s Gambit star shared a rare moment of PDA with husband Malcom McRae, kissing the musician under the light of fireworks. “Swoooon,” she captioned her Instagram post. “Happy New years everyone :)”

Millie Bobby Brown

Meanwhile, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown dubbed 2024 the “year of mrs bongiovi 🤍.” Brown’s Instagram Reel recap of her year featured clips from her wedding and other romantic moments with Jake Bongiovi.

Ariana Grande

Though we don’t know what the Wicked star actually got up to on New Year’s Eve, she shared some more BTS moments from her year on Instagram, including a rare selfie with boyfriend Ethan Slater (and their costar Jeff Goldblum). “A year full of art and heart 𖦹 ｡˚ฺ ｡˚·ꕤ.ﾟ! Thank you eternally for your love and support, words truly don’t suffice,” she captioned the snaps. “I love you always and am wishing you a all a very happy new year!”
